Exactly what we measure
- Security
- Whether the site can be reached, has a valid secure connection (https) and redirects visitors to that secure version.
- Speed
- How fast the server responds, how large the page is, whether it is sent compressed and how fast it loads on a phone according to Google.
- The title and description of your search result, the setting for phone screens, the main heading, descriptions of images, the preview when the page is shared, and the language.
- AI assistants
- Whether assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity may read your site, whether it describes itself in structured data (a description that software can read) and whether there is an llms.txt: a summary of your site for AI assistants.
- Up to date
- The year at the bottom of the page, the version of the system the site runs on, outdated parts, modern image formats and an icon of its own.
- Your e-mail
- Which service handles the e-mail of your domain name, so you know what happens to your e-mail with a new website.
- Your site’s details
- What your site itself states: name, phone, e-mail, address, opening hours, services and prices, logo, colours and social media.
